baker, and spent many hours baking for her family, friends, and all the people in her neighborhood. She was best known for her Tomato soup cake and her California cookies, which put smiles on the faces of everyone that tasted them. The nurturer of the family, Jennie was kind, compassionate and cared deeply for all of the people in her life.There was not a scratch, bruise, or broken heart that she could not mend. She will be dearly missed, but her legacy endures. Jennie will be remembered by her three loving sons; Steven Pruett ofRochester, Norman Pruett ofRochester, and Michael (Dawn) Pruett ofRochester; seven grandchildren, Jeffrey Pruett ofRochester, Jonathan (Cristina) Pruett ofSt. Paul, Jason (Gretchen) Pruett ofBrooklyn Park, Christine (Marvin) Benson of Chatfield, Michelle Pruett ofRochester, Jessica (Jeb) Pruett-Taylor ofRaeford, NC, and Justin Pruett ofRochester; nine great grandchildren, Hannah and Sophia Pruett ofSt. Paul, Arthur, Wesley and Genevieve Pruett ofMinneapolis, Crystal (Adam) Landherr of Stewartville, Nathan (Meghan) French ofRochester, Alyssa Pruett ofRochester, and Olive Grace Taylor ofRaeford, NC;two great-great grandchildren, Peyton French ofRochester, and Mason Landherr ofStewartville. Jennie is preceded in death by her husband, Albert; her parents; and brother, Kenneth Roseboom. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 3, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church, 5905 Silas Dent Rd. NW with Rev. Dwight LaPine officiating.Visitation will be an hour prior to the service at the church.Interment will take place at Grandview Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Calvary Baptist Church.
