Brian L. McCoy

ROCHESTER, MINN:Brian McCoy, 56, passed away peacefully at his home, Friday, April 24, 2015. He fought a courageous battle with ALS. Brian worked several years for Custom Truck Body and as a carpenter for Olympic Wall. He also worked for Wonder Bread, Countryside Builders and Clement Chevrolet. He was a hard worker and provided a helpful hand to many. Brian enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, playing golf and his favorite sports were hockey and football. He was a big racing fan who enjoyed working on cars and watching many races. Brian is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sue; a daughter Stephanie (Jason) Hanf, son Jason McCoy; grandchildren, Caiden McCoy, Arianna and Allivia Hanf; his mother Martha; and sisters, Laurie and Wendy. He will be greatly missed by many relatives and friends. A very special thank you to Mayo ALS Clinic, the ALS Association, Season's Hospice and Dr. Luke Hafdahl for your wonderful care and support. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes' Chapel. Visitation will be one hour before the service at the funeral home.
