loved wood carving and fishing with her dad at his summer cabin up north. Sue was a member of the Quilters Sew-ciety of Rochester. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, stamping, rug hooking, cross stitching, and all things arts and crafts. She was an American Colonial period enthusiast, loved cheering for her Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers, and above all, Sue was a great hockey mom to both her children, Erika and Garrett. Sue is survived by her husband, Paul Strom of Shoreview, MN; children, Erika Strom and Garrett Strom both of Rochester; mother, Arlita Frantz of Brookfield, WI and significant other, Bill DeJung of Rochester, MN. Sue is also survived by her brothers, Greg (Shawn) Fyksen of Naperville, IL, Jim (Lanette) Fyksen of Sussex, WI, Steve (Kim Ready) Fyksen of Sarasota, FL; step-brother, Steve (Rebecca) Frantz of Brookfield, WI; step-sister, Linda (Andrew) Martin of WI and numerous nieces and nephews. Sue was preceded in death by her dad, George Fyksen; brother, Dennis Fyksen; Step-sister, Karen Frantz; step-dad, Kenneth Frantz and nephew, Christopher Fyksen. Your support has been greatly appreciated. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Evangel United Methodist Church 2645 N. Broadway Ave. Rochester, MN with the Rev. Phil Strom officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be at a later date at Pinelawn Memorial Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI.
