Judith R. Strain

Judith R. Strain, 58, of Byron, MN passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Saint Marys Hospital. Judith Rae Zieman was born July 31, 1958 to Paul and Lois (Reed) Zieman in Rochester, MN. Judith married Randy Strain on November 1, 1975 in Chatfield, MN. Randy passed away in 2014. She enjoyed reading and was a member of Byron United Methodist Church. Judith enjoyed baking and drawing. Judith is survived by her children, Nicole Molitor of Rochester, Emma Strain of Byron and Charles Strain of Byron; five grandchildren; and her siblings, Sandy Graves of Cambridge, MN, Paula Finstad of Chester, MN, Roger Zieman of Rochester and Carol Buss of Chatfield, MN. She was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Zieman. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Byron United Methodist Church (503 1st Avenue NW). Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Salem Corners.
