Terrance Lynn Martin

Terrance L. Martin, Terry, 61, of Rochester, passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at The Mayo Clinic, St. Marys Campus after a long courageous battle with cancer. Terry was born July 5, 1955 in Rochester to Gale and Eloise (Kohrt) Martin. On December 18, 1981, in Rochester, he married Karen Shanahan. Terry worked for Interstate Roofing for over 20 years and he really enjoyed and took pride in his lifelong career as a roofer. He enjoyed hunting and loved spending time outdoors and working with his hands, making and fixing things. Terry loved spending time restoring his 1957 Chevy Bel Air and attending area car shows. He also had a love for traveling and his favorite destination was his time spent in Duluth. Terry was known for his quick wit and his willingness to always be there for anyone when they needed him. His greatest passion was spending time with his grandchildren. Terry is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Karen Martin; children, Shawn Martin of Rochester, Nicole Martin of Rochester; grandchildren, Lyric Michael Cole Martin and Alyxandra Serenity Lynn Hughes both of Rochester.
