m he made many fun memories. He was a member of Zion Spies Lutheran Church and he was actively involved in the social program, Family Promise where he cooked and cared for the homeless. Michaels generosity and selflessness will forever be remembered. In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by his sister, Robin L. Prins of Temple, PA and his brother, Harry D. Sassaman, husband of Diane also of Temple, PA; a sister-in-law, Tina L. Skorupsky, wife of Robert; and a brother-in-law, Scott J. Young. He is also survived by two nephews, Christopher Sassaman, Alan Sassaman; two nieces, Brandy L. Skorupsky, Heather Ann Hohl, wife of Ryan; and three great nephews: Ethan R. Jacob R., Lucas T. Hohl. In addition to his parents, Michael is predeceased by a brother, Terry L. Sassaman and his wife, Darlene Sassaman; a brother-in-law, Rodger A. Young; and his mother and father-in-law, Geraldine B. (Sperber) Young and Raymond J. Young as well as many feline and canine companions that he cared for over the years. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
