Patricia Ann Nichols Stebens Bahnsen Lema, 81, of LeClaire, IA passed away on Wednesday, August 30th, 2017 at her home. Private services and cremation will be held at her request. Patricia was born September 26, 1935 in Russell, Iowa to George and Vivian (Hackney) Nichols. She married Arthur Stebens in 1952. She married Glen R. Bahnsen in 1961. He preceded her in death in 1962. She married Richard J. Lema in 1966 and divorced in 1993. She is survived by her long time, loving friend and companion Harold "Mike" Mikkelsen. She attended schools in Jerome and LeClaire, Iowa. She worked at Allied Construction Service, Inc. as office manager for 40 years, retiring in 1999. She was a Charter member of Women in Construction where she was active in recruiting others to join their membership. She enjoyed bowling and received numerous bowling awards. She also enjoyed the great outdoors, cruises, traveling, camping, boating and fishing, having traveled extensively in Alaska and all over the US, Canada, Mexico, as well as Europe and the Middle East. enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is survived by her children Teri (David) Tormanen of Rockford, MN and Toni L. VanArsdale of Champaign, IL; step-children Dawn R. Johnson of Bettendorf and Chris J. Lema of Bettendorf; grandchildren Troy (Mary) Stebens and Trisha Burroughs; step-grandchildren Shilah Johnson, Bradley Van Opdorp, and Allyson J. Lema; great granddaughter Kaitelyn Doris; step great-grandsons Kingston Cruz, Cohen Van Opdorp, and Jacob Brookins; step-great granddaughters Ella Rose Mlekush, Avery C. Parke and Hannah Bratkins; brother William S. Nichols, of LeClaire; sister Virginia Atkins of Silvis, IL; as well as a considerable extended family consisting of several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Glen R. Bahsen, son-in-law David Van Arsdale, brother Merle and sister-in-law Joan Nichols.
