Forgione, Peter

Peter J. Forgione, a loving husband, father and grandfather,77, of Kingston, died Sunday, August 27, 2017 at HealthAlliance Hospital Broadway Campus. Born in Scranton, PA, he was a son of the late James E. & Mary Muracco Forgione. Peter was employed as an engineer at Rotron, Woodstock, NY and IBM, Kingston, and Poughkeepsie, NY. He was a member of the JC'S of Woodstock NY and Knights of Columbus in Saugerties, NY. Peter also volunteered as a fireman in Boiceville and Woodstock, NY. Peter is survived by his wife of 57 years, Patricia A. Stark Forgione of Kingston, whom he married on August 15, 1960, three children, Gaye E. Forgione-Goodman and her husband Joel of Alexandria, VA, Suzanne Forgione-Gustafson and her husband John of Beach Lake, PA, P. Kenneth Forgione and Cindy Polkowski of Port Ewen, seven grandchildren, Alekse, Allyson, Tori, PJ, Natalie, Johnny and Jeremie, two great grandchildren, Timothy and Ryley. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his parents, Peter was predeceased by a daughter, Elisa A. Forgione-Kronz and a brother, Robert Forgione.
