Alejandro O. Martinez, 65, a lifetime resident Donna Texas went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 7, 2017. He was born May 16, 1952 to Jose and Margarita Osoria Martinez in Cotulla Texas. He is survived by his loving family: wife; Maria Martinez of Donna, Texas, 3 children: Alex (Jessica) Martinez Jr. of Mercedes, Rolando (Veronica) Rios of Weslaco, Kris (Mandy) Martinez of Weslaco, 7 Grandchildren, 6 brothers/sisters: Eliseo (Olga) Martinez, Tony Martinez, Maria Martinez, Beatriz Michel, Lucina Tejeda and Diana Fernandez. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 from 1:00p.m. to 9:00p.m. with a rosary to be recited at 7:00p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, September 11, 2017. We will depart Rudy Garza Funeral Home at 9:30a.m. for a 10:00a.m. mass at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Interment will then follow at Val Verde Cemetery in Donna Texas.
