nd Milt were then able to buy the Ottawa IL Ford-Mercury dealership in the spring of 1964. Later, Lu was the National Campaign Director for Danny Thomas' St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, working closely with Danny Thomas. Lu ultimately retired from the Real Estate Marketing Department of Indiana National Bank. He is survived by his wife Alice and their three sons; Robert (Carolyn) of Brownsburg, Stanley (Cheryl) of Indianapolis, and Russell (Marcia) of Minneapolis MN. Also surviving are his younger siblings Jerry (Carmen) Palma of Montezuma and Libby (Bob) Klug of South Bend. Lu and Alice had retired to Brownsburg to enjoy their grandchildren: Joseph (Melissa) Palma, now of Washington DC, and Kate (Michael) Marciniec, now of Westfield. He later enjoyed his three great-grandchildren; Will, Ellie, and Josh Marciniec. All will greatly miss Grandpa and Great-Grandpa. A Memorial Service will be held in Milner Chapel of Indianapolis' Second Presbyterian Church at 1PM Monday, September 11, with visiting to follow.
