ta Delta Phi Social Sorority, (Now Gamma Phi Beta.) The "Delts" had lost of fun riding around in Carolyn's 1959 white Thunderbird. Carolyn provided us with many happy memories. In 1958 she was an attendant in the Homecoming Court. One was truly blessed to have known Carolyn. She was a true friend to all who knew her. She never spoke an unkind word. She was quiet, shy and beautiful. Arrogance was not in her demeanor. The years would pass but one always remained a true friend. She will be missed. Heaven has another angel."
She and her parents raised, trained and showed Hackney and harness show ponies for which they attained national recognition. Her mother's musical accomplishments were mirrored in Carolyn, as loved to play the piano and listen to her favorite CD's.
Her only year of teaching 1961-1962 was at Wright School in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Her kindergarten class knew her love and compassion. Many of those students continued to keep in touch with her through the years with cards and even pictures of their own children. Such were the feelings that impacted all.
She married Larry J. Kramer on August 1962 at the First Presbyterian Church in Clinton. She loved her life on the farm overlooking the pasture where horses grazed and she would feed them apples across the fence. She was employed at the Solberg Veterinary Clinic for over 20 years, where her love of animals was truly realized.
She was a member of P.E.O Chapter J.N., a board member of the Clinton Humane Society, a member of Saint Paul's Lutheran Church and a long time member of the North Naples Country Club.
She was a true sun lover. She had a special place on Vanderbilt Beach, Naples, Florida where she would place her chair to relax, read , and soak up the afternoon sun. May she forever bask in heavenly sunshine.
Survivors include her husband Larry, brother-in-law: William (Bill) Kramer of Naples, Florida, and her sister-in-law: Mary (Kenneth) Mosley of Longwood, Florida and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Solberg Wildlife Preserve or the Clinton Humane Society.
