ldren Mollie and Vander; and Matthew Emick (Jeni) and their children Kesley and Korie all of Humboldt; and Katie Herring of Layton, Utah and Carlie Herring of Silver Spring, Maryland. Wanda's two surviving sisters are Joyce Foth (Al) and Geraldine Smith of Livermore.
Besides her family, Wanda's faith was key in her life. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and was a member of LWML. Wanda was an avid reader, golfer (she carded a hole in one), bowler and was a Humboldt Wildcat and Iowa Hawkeye fan. She spent hours playing bridge with friends and numerous card games with family. She also enjoyed playing bingo with her sisters. She was a whiz at puzzles, crossword puzzles, Jeopardy and wheel of Fortune.
Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved husband Ervin "Butch" Emick. They are together again in Heaven.
A favorite saying of hers was, "It's 5 o'clock in the world somewhere." So at 5 o'clock someday this week raise your glass in a "toast" to Wanda & Butch.
