Donald G Winslow

Mr. Donald G. Winslow, 81, of Yarmouth died at 1:55 a.m. Friday, September 15, 2017, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born January 20, 1936 in Pekin, Indiana, he was the son of Lawrence B. and Maude E. (Markland) Winslow. He married Diane June Kummerer who preceded him in death on January 21, 1979. On November 3, 1990 he married Louisa Langheinz in Burlington. She also preceded him in death on September 4, 2008.
Mr. Winslow was a graduate of Burlington High School. He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
Survivors include his son, Mike Winslow of Yarmouth; two daughters, Sheryl Berge of Cosby, Tennessee and Renee (Rick) Baker of Sperry; two stepdaughters, Maria Langherinz of Philomath, Oregon and Barbara Stamper of Burlington; one stepson, Frank Armstrong of Dallas City, Illinois; 7 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; and two sisters, Billie Forristall of Cedar Rapids and Peggy (Len) Grabian of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
He was preceded in death by his parents, both wives, one grandchild, his brother Bob, and one stepdaughter.

r 20th, at Lunning Chapel. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery. The Burlington Area Veterans Honor Guard will conduct military rites. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until the time of service.
