> Agnes was not only a meticulous bookkeeper in her career, but also in their personal affairs. Agnes and Darrel enjoyed trips to Las Vegas and various cruises. They were content being together and also enjoyed the company of their cat through the years. Agnes was a member of the United Church of Christ in Atlantic, where she was baptized.
Agnes is survived by her nieces, Carol (Al) Menke of Bettendorf, IA, Charlotte (Randy) Phippen of Exira, IA, Linda Elliott of Omaha, NE, and Debra Waggoner of San Francisco, CA; nephew, Craig (Connie) Lykke of Brayton, Iowa; and several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Darrel in 2014; mother, Lillian Christensen in 1983; father, Chris B. Christensen in 1990; infant siblings, Richard and Beatrice; sister and brother-in-law, Berniece and Harold Lykke; brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Norma Waggoner; and her father- and mother-in-law, Paul and Velma Waggoner.
Open visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Saturday, September 23rd and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Sunday, September 24th at Roland Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 25, 2017, at the Atlantic Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Heritage House in Atlantic.
