James David "Jim" Grisinger left this earth on Thursday, September 14th at his home in Englewood, FL. Jim was born on October 10, 1949 to John C "Jack" Grisinger II and Norma Fox in Denver, CO. Later in life, he was adopted by Dorothy M. Haag. Jim was a 1967 graduate of Aurora Central High School and went on to serve in Vietnam as a member of the U.S. Army. In 1969, he married Stella Nicholson who he had three sons with. After his time in the service, he graduated from Metropolitan State College in Denver. He co-owned a successful title insurance and escrow company and a book store. In 1992, he moved to Granby, CO where he worked as a bus transportation manager and did various jobs for East Grand School District and the Silvercreek Resort. In 2010, Jim moved to Englewood, FL where he lived out his final days. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Jack, mother, Norma,and adopted mother Dorothy. Jim leaves behind his wife Barbara Grisinger, sisters Linda Grisinger and Jonni Paxton, three sons; Daniel, Andrew, and Benjamin Grisinger, one step son Owen, and eight grandchildren; Hannah, Simon, Seth, Cadel, Jack, Reed, Makenna, and Tanner.
