Susan Winter of Brighton passed away on September 15 at age 70. She was married to Lesley Winter for 53 years and they have been long-time residents.
Susan was a really strong woman who endured a lot of surgeries throughout her life. She toughed it out always and never got depressed. She had the love and support of her husband, as well as her family and friends. She had a great sense of humor and always said her mind. She loved fishing often with Les, traveling, especially the Oregon Coast, dining out and dancing at Dutch Hops. She worked as a realtor and a title clerk.
Susan was born in Brush, CO, in 1947, to John and Emma (Schlagel) Beauprez and grew up around Northern Colorado. She went to high school in Platteville and Brighton.
She was preceded in death by her siblings, Joyce (Beauprez) Baumgartner and John Beauprez Jr. of Brighton. She has two daughters, Ragan (Winter) McCartney of Brighton and Marla Winter of Thornton, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
