Bill Hudson
William "Bill" Kenneson Hudson , 75, of Mediapolis, died at 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 20, 2017, at the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born November 27, 1941, in Burlington, he was the son of Dean Webster and Wilma Margaret Cummings Hudson. On June 1, 1991, he married Mary Catherine Jones in Burlington.
Bill worked at the Ford and AC Dealerships for 11 years and Delzell Brothers for three years. Also worked 11 years as a heavy equipment operator and for over 20 years was a farmer.
He loved farming. He spent his time making his house a home, doing yard work, and refinishing trunks and furniture. He was always tinkering and loved his tools.
Survivors include his wife, two daughters, Lisa Marie Davis of Winfield and Sherry Anne (Larry) Rossi of Palos Hills, IL; one brother, Dean Edward (Shirley) Hudson of Winfield; four grandchildren, Kelly, James, Adrienne, and Anthony; four great grandchildren, Isabelle, Cloe, Crystallana, and Tehya, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Lawrence R. Hudson.

The memorial service for Mr. Hudson will be 11:00 AM Monday, September 25, 2017, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Smith officiating. A time of food and fellowship will be held in the community room at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home following the memorial service.
