ike, one nephew, Brett Edmiston and aunts and uncles. Raymond was a proud veteran of the United States Army. Two weeks before his high school graduation he joined the army to fight in Vietnam. After he was discharged from the Army in 1969, he joined the Iowa National Guard and served until 1996. He had been employed at ADM in Keokuk for twenty-nine years and retired in 2010 due to failing health. Before his illness, Ray loved to fish, go camping, do woodworking, mow grass and work in his yard. He was an avid St. Louis Cardinal fan and enjoyed the times he was able to take his family to see Cardinal games at Busch stadium. Ray was a wonderful husband and a devoted dad and grandpa and loved to spend time with his family. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with Dawn Farris officiating. Burial with military rites will be in the Keokuk National Cemetery.
