Alberta Rose Keever, 69, of Montrose, died at 3:36 AM Saturday, September 23, 2017, at the Fort Madison Community Hospital in Fort Madison.
Born August 20, 1948, she was the daughter of Albert Clifford Henson and Mildred Winchel Henson. On November 26, 1965, she married Harley Ray Keever. He later preceded her in death.
Alberta was a homemaker.
She enjoyed scrap booking, doing word-find puzzles, and spending time with family. She enjoyed collecting wolf memorabilia.
Survivors include her mother, Mildred Winchel; two daughters, Charlotte (Joseph) Popp of Montrose, and Ida Keever of Illinois; one son, Harley Ray Keever, Jr. of Burlington; seven grandchildren, Tiffany, Matthew, Blake, Andrew, Nathan, Amber, and Trey; two great-grandchildren, Taylin, and Landon; one sister, Lila Mathias of Washington; and two brothers, Lonnie Henson and William Henson both of Burlington.
She is preceded in death by her father, husband, two sisters, one brother, and one infant son.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory.

, 2017, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home with Pastor JudyAnn Morse officiating. Burial will be in Oquawka Cemetery.
