Charles Tolbert, 47, of Briggsdale, Colorado passed away September 22, 2017. He was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, to Jack and Wilma (Theisen) Tolbert. He married Amanda Jo in September 27, 2009 in Walsenburg, Colorado.
He attended public schools in Chandler, Arizona. He took up pipe fitting with Pipe Fitters Local 208 where he continued his education. He has been employed with the Union since 2000. He enjoyed riding horses, he was a motorcycle enthusiast of the Harley type. Charles enjoyed traveling, because of his work. He was known as the "Candy Man" to his friends and family, as he always had a pocket full of mints. Charles liked taking care of his cattle. He was loving husband, Father and a devoted brother. Charles is survived by his wife; Amanda Jo of Briggsdale, Colorado, his father; Jack L. Tolbert of Phoenix, Arizona; his three daughters; Jasmine M. A memorial service will be held on Friday September 29, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home, 75 S. 13th Ave, Brighton, Colorado.
