Della Viola Hartley

Della Viola "Vi" Hartley, 90, of Elk Run Heights, died at her home, on September 27, 2017. Vi was born on June 17, 1927 in Fort Dodge, daughter of William Albert & Della Frances (Sexton) Richardson. She graduated from Laurens Consolidated High School in Laurens, Iowa. She then served as a civil air patrol pilot during World War II. Vi married Milton Evans Hartley on September 4, 1946 in Laurens. Vi was a homemaker who also cared for many children in the nursery at Linden United Methodist Church over the years. She was a member of Linden United Methodist Church.
