Aberlene Lou Ver Heul Kinart was born on October 22, 1941, in Pella, Iowa, to Dick and Jeanette (Synhorst) Ver Heul. She was educated in Pella, first at Lincoln Elementary, later at Webster School, and she graduated from Pella Community High School with the class of 1959.
Aberlene worked as the greeter at the Knoxville WalMart for fifteen years, where she befriended everyone she met. She enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. She was a resident of the Marion County Care Center for a time and passed away on August 29, 2017, at Jefferson Place in Pella.
Aberlene is survived by her brother Dick and Mary Ver Heul, her sister Arvena Van Wyk, and her sister-in-law Wilma Ver Heul. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her brother Jean Ver Heul, and by her sisters Mary Ann Ver Heul and Joyce (Wallace) Van Wyk.
Aberlene was a loving, friendly, and compassionate sister and friend and will be missed by all who knew her.
