Mark Eugene Darrah, 50, of Burlington, died Saturday, September 30, 2017 at his home.
Born on June 30, 1967 in Dubuque, IA, he was the son of Eddie Darrah Sr. and Morna Harris.
Mark was a 1985 graduate of Burlington High School. He was a truck driver for Certified Freight and Roth Trucking. He was an avid turkey hunter and fisherman. He was a St. Louis Cardinals Baseball and Pittsburg Steelers fan.
He was a member of First Christian Church ~ Disciples of Christ.
Survivors include his father and step-mother, Eddie Sr. and Joyce Darrah of Burlington; one brother, Scott (Carrie) Darrah of West Burlington; one sister, Theresa (Lyle) Mahan of Washington, IA; nephews, Adam (Jenny) Mahan and Brandon (Lori) Witthoft and great nieces, whom he loved very much, Madison, Ruthie, Annette and Amelia.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one brother Eddie Darrah Jr.
The memorial funeral service for Mr. Darrah will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 5th at Lunning Chapel. Rev. Will Ryan will officiate. Inunrment will be held in Long Creek Cemetery, rural Danville at a later date. The family will receive friends from 8:00 a.m. until the time of services on Thursday.
