Sandra Lopez, age 40, of East Windsor, passed away on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Merwick Care & Rehab Center in Plainsboro, NJ.
Born in Belarcazar, Colombia, Sandra came to the United States with a strong work ethic. She earned her Bachelor's degree in psychology and was constantly looking to continue her education. She was a counselor working with children and adolescents. She was filled with immense pride knowing that she had touched and changed the lives of so many. There was nothing Sandra could set her mind to and not achieve. In her twenties she juggled being a wife, mother and full time student, always putting the needs of her family before her own - and always with a beautiful smile on her face. In her spare time she loved spending time with her family and friends, shopping and partaking in multiple runs for all different causes from cancer to autism.
Sandra was predeceased by her mother Melba Castano. Surviving is her loving husband Alejandro Rincon, two beautiful daughters Nicole and Isabella; siblings Andres and Maritza; her aunt Melina and of course the countless children whose lives she had enriched.
