f his life. Dean was an avid Iowa State fan. He spent hours monitoring Cyclone news, critiquing games and play calls, debating prospects with friends, and bantering with others on Cyclone Fanatic. He never missed a game or a high-five. Dean also loved playing guitar for his family, listening to music, and having a cold beer with a group of friends. Dean is survived and lovingly remembered by his wife, Julie; daughter, Kira; mother, Janet Gieseman (Robert Witzig) and father, Robert (Mary) Gieseman; siblings, Dan (Oksana) Gieseman, Jody (Sean) Williams, and Lisa (Wayne) Bergfeld; step siblings, Mark (Anita) Bausman and Cathy (Ron) Baxter; parents-in-law, Richard and Sharon Ferguson; sister-in-law, Laura (Michael) Vargas; six nieces and nephews; extended family; and many, many friends.
