Mary E. Calderon

Mr. Mary E. Calderon, 74, of Burlington died at 10:45 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2010 at Burlington Care Center. Born October 14, 1936 in Roseville, Illinois. She was the daughter of Homer A. and Nola L. Wainman Canfield. On February 21, 1953 she married Bill Dwayne Mellinger. They later divorced. On December 13, 1986 she married C.R. (Poncho) Calderon in Mesa, Arizona. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2001. Mrs. Calderon was a homemaker and also worked in production and as a cashier, retiring in 1990. Mrs. Calderon was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed bowling, horseback riding, sewing, hand crafts, painting and reading. Survivors include two sons, Ronald and Donald Mellinger; two daughters, Christine (Tina) Rollins and Cheryl Watkins; eight grandchildren, Shelly Fagin, Michelle Lamb, Jeromie Moore, Daniel and Meili Mellinger, Cale and Brianna Carlson and Josiah Watkins. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren. Her husband, Poncho, two sons, Danny and Billy Mellinger, parents, four brothers, Homer Leroy Canfield, Carl Eugene Canfield, Charles L.
