Steve D. Heater

Steve D. Heater, age 58 of Runnells, died Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at his home. Celebration of life services will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Coburn Funeral Home of Monroe at 10:30 a.m. There will be no visitation prior to services. Memorials may be given to the Steve Heater Memorial Fund and online condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com. The son of Clarence and Clara (Welch) Heater, Steve was born on October 9, 1952 in St. Joseph, Missouri. Steve was united in marriage with the love of his life in Des Moines in 1982. Steve enjoyed fishing, collecting wolf merchandise, and he was a history buff. He was especially interested in war history. Steve's greatest joy was spending time with his grandson. Those left to honor his memory are his wife, Martha Heater of Runnells; two sons, Mike Heater of Des Moines and Scott (Amy) Heater of Monroe; grandson, Wyatt Heater and one brother, Terry (Carla) Heater of Stover, Missouri.
