agement Club and was active in fundraisers and other activities during his time in Arizona. Sonny loved to go dancing with Freda. He also enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and gardening and was an avid reader. Family vacations were also something Sonny enjoyed. Those left to honor his memory; his wife of 63 years, Freda in Arizona; his children, Deanna (Jerry) Bell of Des Moines, Edwin (Sue) Thompson of Ft. Mitchell Kentucky, and James (Diane) Thompson of Des Moines; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Carolyn Komar of New York and two brothers, Robert Thompson and James Thompson both of New Jersey. Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Kenneth Thompson.
