Ginger Marie Henry was born on October 17, 1967 in Estherville, Iowa and graduated from Algona High School in 1986. She then moved to Arizona where she attended Art School. She later managed the first Subway in the United States in Phoenix. She had also worked for Pepsi Corporation, had been a route driver for Schwans Ice Cream and was for the last seven years, a route driver for Frito-Lay Company. Ginger was a very talented artist, enjoyed the out-of-doors and enjoyed playing and drawing with her nieces and nephews while she was home in Algona. Ginger was a spiritual person and was known as a very giving person as she volunteered many hours at women's shelters sharing her talent as an artist with the children. Ginger had played basketball, been a member of the 4-H and showed cattle for nine years when she was younger.
Ginger died suddenly from bacterial meningitis at her home in Phoenix, Arizona. She was 37 years old.

Joseph Henry and wife Melinda of Burt as well as several nieces and nephews and many friends. Ginger was preceded in death by her grandmother Ruta Widdel and grandparents Simon and Matilda Henry.
