beagles. In his later years, he loved to watch his birds, Atlanta Braves and the Tennessee VOLS! But most of all Edward loved holding hands and kissing his Lucy! Edward was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Chester, Norman and Elliott Hunnicutt, four sisters, Harbin Hunnicutt, Louise Sweeney, Lillie Mae Harbin, Catherine Terry, son George Thomas (Tommy) Hunnicutt, Grandaughter Sheri Stokes and great-grandson Todd A.Stokes Jr. He is survived by his wife of seventy years, Lucille, one son Edward Lee Hunnicutt, Jr.and wife Linda, three daughters Sandra (Mike) Roggli, Deborah (John) Gravlee, Sheila Geisenhoffer,and one sister EllaFair (Brents) Mathis. Thirteen grandchildren, Steve Hunnicutt, Karen (Kent) Bowden, Michael (Julie) Roggli, Tim Roggli, Leigh Ann (Todd) Cypers, Chris (Sheila) Gravlee, Ashley Gravlee, Lauren Geisenhoffer, Andrew Geisenhoffer, Cameron Hunnicutt, Ethan Hunnicutt, Stacey (Chad) Horner and Stuart Keele; and eleven great grandchildren Jacob Hunnicutt, Marlena Stokes, Stuart & Abigail Roggli, Garrett & Corbin Cyphers, Elizabeth & Emma Roggli, Serena Gravlee, Brook Ezell and Braden Pickerel. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday in the Moore-Cortner Chapel. Interment will be in Mt. Garner Cemetery, Decherd, TN. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Bro. Ed Boggess, Bro. Mike Hall, and Bro. Lynn Tharpe will officiate the service.
