Victoria Lou (Vicki) Eischen was born September 11, 1952 in Algona, Iowa to Maurice and Elsie (Wood) Eischen. Vicki graduated from Bishop Garrigan High School in Algona in 1970. She then moved to Des Moines where she worked for Broadlawns Medical Center for 34 years. She was currently employed there working in patient accounting. Vicki enjoyed shopping, loved jewelry, collected gnomes, was an avid Iowa Hawkeye Fan, and loved spending time with her family and friends, adoring her four nephews. Vicki was a free spirit person who was spontaneous and a go-getter.
Vicki died on Tuesday afternoon, August 9, 2005 at Mercy Hospice in Des Moines at the age of 52.
Survivors include her parents, Maurice and Elsie Eischen of Algona; sister, Diane Ballard and husband Mike of Grimes, Iowa and brother Ron Eischen of Moulton, Iowa.
