Redmond, age 89 of Winchester, Tennessee passed away on Monday, October 29, 2012, at Southern Tennessee Medical Center in Winchester. He was born July 21, 1923 in Whittier, North Carolina; the son of the late James William and Lillie Belle (Wilson) Redmond. He was retired from the US Navy and was a Veteran of World War II and Korea. Mr. Redmond was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruth Redmond. Surviving are daughter, Brenda Kay Parks of Winchester, TN, grandson, Jonathan Arthur (Holli) Parks of Estill Springs, TN and granddaughter, Kathryn Elizabeth Parks of Winchester, TN; great-grandchildren, Colton and Ella Claire Parks as well as several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday in the Moore-Cortner Chapel. Interment will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens, Winchester, TN.
