She was born November 28, 1931 in Huntland; the daughter of the late Farris and Mamie (Hall) Shockley. She was the wife of J.D. Kelley who survives her. Mrs. Kelley was employed by Genesco Shoe. She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Wayne Kelley, five brothers and five sisters. Surviving are daughters, Janice (Mark) Syler of Flintville, TN and Joan (Jackie) Laster of Flintville, TN, sister, Nellie (Sonny) Burks of Winchester, TN, sister-in-law, Beverly Shockley of Huntsville, AL, granddaughters, Wendy Simmons and Stephanie (Curtis) Barnett, great-granddaughter, Caitlin Simmons, as well as several nieces and nephews. A Funeral service will be at 1:30 PM on Wednesday in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with the Bro. Ray West officiating. Interment will be in Maxwell Cemetery, Belvidere, TN.
