He had served in the US Army and was a store owner for 16 years. Preceding him in death were his parents, James Roy Luttrell and Ada Brown Luttrell; daughter, Betty Luran Luttrell; sister, Georgia Solomon; and brothers, David and James Luttrell. Survived by his wife of 68 years,Earlene Hannah Luttrell of Belvidere; daughters, Kay (Buck) Robinson of Belvidere and Suzanne (Jimmy) Martin of Winchester; sons, Bruce (Linda) Luttrell of Huntland and Jimmy (Denise) Luttrell of Winchester; 13 grandchildren; 26 grt grandchildren; 4 grt grt grandchildren; niece, Doris (Brownie) Jones; and nephew, Lee Solomon. Visitation is 12-8 PM Tuesday at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 11 AM Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at Moore-Cortner Chapel with Bro. Jerry Gatlin and Bro.
