Jessie Erskin Putman, age 85 of Huntland, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, September 22, 2010, at Southern TN Medical Center in Winchester. He was born Friday, October 31, 1924 in Estillfork, Alabama; the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Putman. Mr. Putman was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 6 sisters. He was employed by Amana Corporation. He served in the US Air Force. He was a Veteran of World War II. Surviving is his wife, Dean Gifford Putman, son, Ben Putman of Huntland, TN, daughter, Marie Putman of Huntland, TN. A Funeral service will be at 1:30 PM on Saturday at Moore-Cortner Chapel with the Rev. Ray Gardner officiating. Interment will be in Maxwell Cemetery, Belvidere, TN.
