Ellen Louise Baxter

Ellen Louise Baxter, age 81 of Decherd, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, September 1, 2010, at her residence. She was born Sunday, September 1, 1929 in Huntland; the daughter of the late Frank and Ethel Preston Luttrell. She was employed as a school bus driver by Franklin Co. Board of Education. Mrs. Baxter was preceded in death by her brother, Glen "Buddy" Luttrell and her sister, Jean Page. Surviving is her husband, Joe Baxter, Sr.; sons, Joe Baxter, Jr. of Decherd, TN and Jackie (Judy) Baxter of Winchester, TN, sisters, Nellie Caldwell of Winchester, TN and Judy (Russ) Peppers of Estill Springs, TN.; grandchildren, Damien (Amy) Baxter, Danae Baxter and Felicia Baxter and great-grandchildren, Joseph "JT" Baxter, Kyrin Baxter and Garrett Hayes. A Funeral service will be at 10:30 AM on Friday at Moore-Cortner Chapel with the Rev. John Norman officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Memorial Gardens, Winchester, TN.
