Virginia Stricklin Curtis

Virginia Stricklin Curtis, age 77 of Winchester, Tennessee died on Tuesday, March 30, 2010, at Harton Regional Medical Center in Tullahoma. She was born Monday, June 20, 1932 in Savannah, Tennessee; the daughter of the late M.A. and Nannie Viola Pickens Stricklin. She was employed by Lanier Clothing and Winchester Hat Corporation. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Curtis was also preceded in death by her son, Joel Timothy Curtis, sisters, Annie Laura Markham, and Melissa Baugus, and brothers, Leonard, Melton, Vernon and Lender Stricklin. She is survived by her husband, James H. Curtis, daughters, Cathy (Mickey) Baxter of Winchester, TN and Lydia Curtis Johnson of Winchester, TN, brothers, Thomas Stricklin of Savannah, TN and Johnny Stricklin of Savannah, TN., grandchildren, Monica Brooke Baxter, Emily (Chad) Dickens, Chad R. Baxter, Kayla Marie Daniel, and great-grandson, Dakota Ross Dickens. A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday at Moore-Cortner Chapel with the Pastor Steven Lester officiating.
