Visitation will be 5-9 PM Tuesday and Wednesday. Funeral services will be 2 PM Thursday at Cowan Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Rocky Wray officiating. Interment at Keith Springs Cemetery. He is survived by his wife, Jamye Lowery Franklin; daughter, Leah V. Franklin; grandparents, Billy and Anna Metcalf; sister, Amanda(Brad) Steele; brother, Marcus (Tascha) Franklin; mother-in-law, Vicky L. Steele; best friend & best man, Floyd Lee Stephens; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lillard Franklin, Jr. and Sandra Louise Franklin. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be may be given to Moore-Cortner Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.[more]
