Sienna Dusk Owens, age 11 of Decherd, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2015. Sienna was a student at North Middle School and was involved in soccer, cheerleading, basketball, and track. She was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church. Sienna is preceded in death by her grandmother, Sharon Currie; great grandparents, Virgie and Paul Hughes; great-grandfathers, Benjamin Prater and Billy Jake Owens; and great-grandmother, Lillie Kafer. She is survived by her mother, Dara (John) Currie of Decherd; father, Daniel Lee Owens of Millington; brothers, Stuart Nathaniel Owens of Decherd and John Thomas Currie of Columbus, OH; sisters, Diedra Currie of Fort Hood, TX, Savanah Owens Layne of Decherd, and Seirra Dawn Owens of Decherd; grandparents, Kenneth and Elaine Hughes of Decherd; grandmother, Maudine Parker of Belvidere; grandfathers, John Thomas Currie of Leetonia, OH and Benjamin (Dorothy) Owens of Winchester; great-grandmothers, Wilma Prater of Woodbury and Annie Pearl Owens; uncle, Joseph Garner of Belvidere; and aunt, Saralena Garner.
