Mrs. Isabella Rose Alderink, 90, passed away Sunday morning, October 8, 2017 in Muskegon. She was born August 29, 1927 to August and Elsie (Sanford) Wissner in Shelby, and moved to the Muskegon area in the early 1950's. Isabella was a 1945 graduate of Shelby High School, had been an employee of The Walburn Funeral Home and was a member of the former Lakeside United Methodist Church. Taking care of her children and grandchildren was the main focus and joy of her life. On November 22, 1946 she married Ernest H. Alderink, and he preceded her in death on February 11, 2012. Survivors include 4 sons, Larry (Barbara) Alderink, Thomas (Diane) Alderink, James (Katherine) Alderink and Charles Alderink; 9 grandchildren, Melissa Alderink, Erik (Sue) Alderink, Kimberly (Michael) Nardi, Michael Alderink, Michelle (David) Bates, Mary Alderink, Matthew Alderink, Daniel (Amanda) Alderink and Eric Alderink; She was also blessed with 7 great-grandchildren.
