lso volunteered at the Loveland Visitor Center, Sculpture in the Park, at her daughters' schools, and at her church. During her time in Loveland, she was a preschool teacher, helped to run a trout fly business, and cared for many dogs and cats. She had a wonderful group of friends including her neighbors, childhood and college friends, and members of her book group.

She remains an inspiration and a role model to many. She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Katherine Gayle, Diane Lapierre, and Martha Decker; her brother, Richard Lobban; seven grandchildren; and other loving relatives.

A celebration of her life will be held at 10am on October 21 at the Foothills Unitarian Church. Donations in her memory can be made to the Larimer Humane Society online or in person at 3501 E 71st Street, Loveland, CO 80538.
