oreign Affairs in Trinidad and Tobago.* His career as Diplomat began in 1974 when he was posted to the Embassy of Trinidad and Tobago in Brasilia, Brazil, and after 4 years he was transferred to the Trinidad and Tobago High Commission in Ottawa, Canada for three years. Upon his return to Trinidad in 1981, he spent the next four years at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and in 1985 was then posted to the Embassy of Trinidad and Tobago in Washington DC. for four years. From 1989 to 1994 he was appointed as Deputy Permanent Representative to the Trinidad and Tobago Mission to the United Nations in New York. From 1994 to 2003 he once again worked at Embassy of Trinidad and Tobago in Washington DC, until his retirement. Lennox and his wife Myrna relocated to South Florida in June 2003. He kept busy with the gym and various social and cultural activities until he became ill in 2012. He fought this illness for 5 years, until he succumbed to the effects at age 79.
