You may have known Linda Blucher as a daughter, a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a cousin, a friend, or a co-worker. No matter the relationship, you always knew how she felt about you. Linda was fiercely loyal and loved completely. She lived her entire adult life for her husband, Gary, and her son, Shane. Both were quite the handful sometimes, but she refused to see anything but the best in either of them. Maybe you had the opportunity to hear her talk about them, her mom or dad, or about her grandchildren. If you did, you would have seen her eyes light up when she told you what an "outstanding person" they were. When she loved you, she loved you all the way.
It may have been easy to overlook Linda at times because her place of power was in the backgroun...[more]
, supporting those around her. However, life couldn't have gone on without her gentle strength. She never complained, and if she did it was short lived and followed by an apology. Linda always, always wanted to make sure other people were happy and put everyone else's needs before her own every time.
Her favorite saying over the years was "you will miss me when I'm gone." No matter who she was to you, you know now how true those words are. Linda, we miss you dearly.
Survivors include her son, Shane (Jill) Blucher of Victoria, TX; three grandchildren, Drew, Gracie, and Jeffrey; and her mother, Delores Jane Johnson of Pella.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her father.
