Kathy J. Glick

Kathy J. Glick, 60, of Homosassa, FL and a longtime Red Hook resident, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, October 10th, 2017 at home.

 

Born on August 31, 1957, in Kingston, NY, she was the daughter of Joyce (Hitchcock) Kirtson of Kingston, NY and the late George Kirtson.

 

A 30 year resident of Red Hook, Kathy moved to Florida following her retirement in 2013 as a Grand Jury Court Stenographer with the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office in Poughkeepsie, NY. A position she held for 24 years.

 

While living locally, Kathy was a member of Grace Community Church in Lake Katrine, NY

 

In addition to her mother, Kathy is survived by her son and daughter in law; Nicholas and Mary Herron of Red Hook, NY; her grandson, Carter Herron of Red Hook, NY; her sisters, Karen Lockrow of Kingston, NY, and Melissa Lennon of Clinton Corners, NY; along with extended family, colleagues and friends.

Friends may call at the Burnett & White Funeral Homes, Red Hook, NY on Friday, October 20th, 2017 from 4 to 7 pm. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM, Pastor Wes Smith officiating. Interment will be private.

 

Memorial donations may be made in Kathy's memory to the North Shore Animal League or Weimaraner Rescue of the North.
