Orea James Glover, age 69, passed away on October 16, 2017 at the Alexander Nininger State Veterans Nursing Home, Pembroke Pines, Florida following a long illness.
He was born in Albany, Georgia on April 30, 1948, son of Orea and Armelia Riley Glover. He was raised and educated in Albany, Georgia. At the age of 20, Orea enlisted into the United States Army. He was honorably discharged in 1971.
Mr. Glover is survived by two children, Deborah Glover and Oree James Glover. He also leaves behind his siblings, Loretta Harris, Richard Riley, Jacqueline Riley and Ella Lovett, seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, nieces, nephews', and many close friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Cora Simmons.
Mr. Glover had a passion for music. He highlighted his talent by occasionally playing in the Joey Gilmore's Band, and performing studio work for various artists.
