Howard Klinksiek

Burial ~ Highland Home Cemetery - Ledyard Howard Leroy Klinksiek was born on March 24, 1924, the son of August and Alma (Blome) Klinksiek, on the family farm near Ledyard. After a good life, he went home to Jesus on February 10, 2008 at St. Lukes Lutheran Care Center in Blue Earth, Minnesota. Howard was baptized and confirmed at Bethany Evangelical and Reformed Church where he was a lifetime member. He graduated from Ledyard Consolidated High school in 1941. After working on the farm with his dad, he joined the United States Navy where he served two years as a gunner/airplane mechanic. On June 11, 1950, he married the love of his life, Marian Stenzel. Howard farmed all his life. He loved his family, fishing and reading and visiting with his many friends.
