In Loving Memory of Edward Ratulowski
Edward passed away peacefully on September 28, 2017. He was born on April 25, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to Edward and Gladys Ratulowski. He attended Notre Dame High School and graduated from Marquette University with a degree in Civil Engineering.
After traveling the country for the Federal Highway training program, he settled in Indiana. He was a long -time resident of Zionsville and worked for the Federal Highway Administration for 42 years. He was instrumental in the development of the United States interstate system and helped to introduce round-abouts to Indiana. He was also greatly involved in the development of safety regulations for the disabled.
Edward enjoyed water skiing, boating, fishing and working as a body shop mechanic in his younger years. His love of fixing up cars and doing home improvement projects continued throughout his life. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday October 4th from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic church. The funeral mass begins at noon. A private burial will be held at Crown Hill cemetery.
