Donna Dreesman

Interment: Ramsey Reformed Cemetery ~ Titonka, Iowa Donna Rae Dreesman was born on February 22, 1934, at Estherville, Iowa, to Ralph and Laura Klein Cummins. She graduated from the Armstrong High School. Donna was married to Dennis G. Dreesman on November 11, 1951, at the Methodist Church in Armstrong. Donna moved with her husband to Key West, Florida, where he was serving in the U.S. Navy. Their son, Jerry was born there in 1952. In 1955, Donna and Dennis moved northwest of Titonka and took over the family farm. They retired in 1991 and moved south of Titonka. Dennis preceded Donna in death on July 11, 1996. Donna then moved into Titonka. Donna was an active member of the Ramsey Reformed Church near Titonka. She was a church organist, a member of the choir and the Esther Circle. Donna also belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary in Titonka and enjoyed delivering Meals on Wheels. In her younger years, Donna enjoyed bowling and golfing. She also enjoyed singing in local groups, singing with the Titonka Women's Chorus and also singing with her brother, Dale at the area Nursing Homes. Surviving are her son, Jerry Dreesman and his special friend, Jeanette Gifford, Titonka, Iowa and her step-grandchildren, Bethany Wegener, Titonka, Iowa, Jack Wegener, Des Moines, Iowa, Sara Gifford, Cherokee, Iowa, her brother, Dale Cummins and wife, Burnetta, Armstrong, Iowa, sister-in-law, Betty Koppes, Woodbury, Minnesota and several nieces, nephews and cousins She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dennis.
