Mary Yukiko Watanabe

Mary Yukiko Watanabe passed away peacefully at Brookdale Place at Willow Lake in Indianapolis IN. on May 24th, 2016. Mary was born on September 4th, 1923 in Creston, Wyoming, the daughter of Usaburo and Sakae Tanokuchi Namba. After the death of her father in 1933, Mary and her family moved back to Japan. Mary married Frank Watanabe on September 12th, 1940 and they returned to the United States and ultimately settled in Berne, Indiana. They had three children, August (Gus), Maryellen (Michi), and Edwin (Ed). Mary is proceeded in death by her parents, husband Frank, son August, and granddaughter Nan. She is survived by her daughter Maryellen Raff and spouse Michael. , son Edwin Watanabe and spouse Candace, Margaret Watanabe, 6 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
