Scott D. Adams

Scott D. Adams, 44, of Indianapolis, IN, passed away surrounded by loved ones on July 21, 2014. He was a beloved husband, son, brother, teacher and friend whose capacity for joy and love of life will be sorely missed. Scott graduated from Center Grove (1989) where he played basketball and went on to earn a degree in education from Franklin College (1996). He spent 16 years teaching, coaching, and inspiring students in Indianapolis Public Schools and serving as a mentor and leader amongst his colleagues. He is survived by his wife Jamie Buffington-Adams and son Maxwell, his parents Jim and Ruth Adams, and his sister Kathleen Adams. A memorial service will be held on Friday, August 1 at 2 PM at Pleasant View Lutheran Church, 801 W. 73rd Street, Indianapolis. Memorial donations can be made to the American Cancer Society.
